#3 explaining a concept
The concept that stuck out the most to me as I was reading was Maslow's
Hierarchy of Needs, that is a concept right? Because I got a little confused.
It starts with the most basic need, which are physical needs for survival such
as air, food and sex. Of course people need the air to breathe in the oxygen
and food to survive or at least water. Then it goes to safety and protection
needs, which is shelter. If don't have a place to stay it is more likely that
you are at a higher risk of dying since you won't have food or anything of such
sort. Then it is the belonging needs for one to be inclusive and to have fun.
No fun in life means that you don't enjoy life and can be at risk of depression
or something of such sort. Then it goes to self-esteem without that you won't
know how to deal with problems and get through life because you would let your self-esteem
get you in the way of what you were initially trying to accomplish. Lastly it
is self-actualization, which is the most abstract, which is being fully
developed having talents and potential. These basic and abstract needs get you
through life. Helps you survive, learn and overcome things. Communication is
the key to Maslow's Hierarch of Needs pyramid. Without communication in your
everyday life, you won't get far in life.
